frequently asked

Where are you based out of and how far do you travel?

I currently reside in Portland, OR, but would love to travel for your wedding! Seriously, I would be living out of a suitcase if I could. I have traveled across the United States and out of the country countless times, and frequently visit my family back in New York. Rates for travel apply for events 75 miles outside of Portland unless otherwise stated.

What do wedding packages include?

Wedding packages include day-of photography coverage, a full gallery of high resolution edited photos, printing rights, special gifts, and options for album or wall printings. Apart from the nitty gritty- they include my love and advice! I am here to answer any questions about locations, timeline suggestions, etc., and am happy to meet up any time.

I am happy to add on additional sessions to wedding packages, such as engagement sessions, or day-after sessions. (More relaxed photos after all the fun of you two newly-weds!)

How many photos will I get?

I typically deliver around 50-100 images per hour of shooting for weddings. I do not deliver all of the photos that I take- simply because you probably wouldn’t want them all. When I sort through the photos I take, I don’t include photos that are doubles, have funky faces or unflattering in-between moments, or are blurry.

What is your photography style?

I like to think of my style as more on the dark and moody side, and strive to take photos that are a mixture of candid and romantic with genuine emotions. I edit on the moodier side to capture that romance. I try not to edit too unnaturally- keeping things true to color to ensure that your photos are timeless.

Do you only do weddings and couples?

My heart belongs to photographing the love between couples, and I’m most experienced in this field. However, I do take on a number of creative projects and dog photography sessions. If you’re unsure whether I photograph the sort of session you’re interested in, feel free to reach out!

Unfortunately I do not photograph births, newborns, families, or traditional boudoir at this time.
